I don't understand why I have qualified for login.gov and when I go to va.gov to login I am asked to reverify my identity. At the time I verified login.com I did have a driver's license which was valid. I no longer have a valid driver's license it has expired. As I understand it expired driver's licenses don't do any good. Not only that but I'm a disabled veteran and I've been using the VA for the last 10 to 15 years and I cannot believe that I but I can't get logged in long enough to request a copy of my disability letter. Please help me I am very frustrated I am 71 years old and this is pushing me to my limits.

Sorry for the difficulties. Login.gov identity verification does require an unexpired state-issued identification card or driver’s license. To manage VA benefits and health care by phone, by mail, or in person, see https://www.va.gov/resources/helpful-va-phone-numbers/
