Will this alpha work with my existing Signal contacts?
Yes! Everyone you currently message on Signal will be able to be messaged with this alpha. The Signal.web3 alpha interops with the entire Signal ecosystem.
Am I creating a new Signal “account” in order to make this work?
No, our alpha will link to your existing Signal via the QR code in your Signal mobile app.

If a user has added their Signal mobile number to their ENS or Avvy Domain name, you will be able to directly message that user by entering just their blockchain name.

This release works on Mac OS, Windows and Linux. Future, more complete versions will work on leading mobile platforms.
