I am not sure what I am missing in the setup.

The exe runs and shows the messages:

Flic server is now up and running and waiting for clients...
Bluetooth radio was attached!

When running the java client, I get the info messages, with nos paired devices.
I tried all 3 applications, nothing happens when I press on the buttons.

I've installed the windows App "Bluetooth LE Explorer", I can see the button details, I am also able to pair it with the windows bluetooth device manager.

I get the feeling that I am missing just a small little thing. Any thoughts?

I have the same problem on my surface, I have updated the windows 10 to the lastest version and the server application can't detect the flic button.
But on my another PC aussi installed windows 10 but now the lastest versoin, the flic button is detected.

Could you try the new FlicSDK.exe?
