Add tests and automatic STL generation

There's kind of a lot of options, and it would probably be good to have some testing to make sure they play well with each other (or at least detect which ones don't).

Also could be nice to have some way to auto-generate the STL files and maybe even images for documentation so that they reflect the most up-to-date code.
