location does not update to screen if user moves while map is open

In different views that are built when opening them the map location does not update if user moves after that. The precision of location is one thing, but if user keeps the view open and moves while looking for right location the map marker does not reflect change.
This would need somehow a "listener" or polling location service regularly while map is open.
