First of all lets discuss the two versions of datamosher pro:

The basic python version (FREE AND SOURCE CODE IS AVAILABLE)

• You will get lots of effects for original datamosh modes and many other glitch effects (total 33 effects)
• Basic UI, but can do the work
• Needs python to run
• Need to install some extra modules
• Have to setup some extra stuff (specially for mac python)
• Open source and free

PAID version (Only available for windows)

• A modern and clean UI with themes
• All basic effects + more ffglitch effects (total 50+)
• Conversion settings
• More fixed stuff
• A video player for quick reference
• Both installer/setup and portable exe version included like all windows applications
• Can import custom scripts
• And many more stuff...
