I was cleaning up my machine and saw that there seem to be a several duplicate files installed by Anaconda. They are not symlinks. Initially asked on SO, and was recommended to raise an issue here.

A few examples in ~/opt/anaconda3/lib, though there are many more:

  • libonedal_core.dylib, libonedal_core.1.dylib and libonedal_core.1.1.dylib
  • libmkl_core.dylib and libmkl_core.1.dylib
  • libmkl_intel_thread.dylib and libmkl_intel_thread.1.dylib

And others in ~/opt/anaconda3/pkgs/dal-2021.5.0-hecd8cb5_782/lib:

Note that at least for dal, the Conda Forge version has been fixed. See conda-forge/intel_repack-feedstock#38
