I'm not sure if that is a good plan, I think the way it is right now is simpler for @JordanMarr to maintain it but I'm open to include anything in these templates

Angel is right; it is more convenient for me to update it in my own repo.

TBH, getting it listed on NuGet so that you can install it via dotnet new would be a bigger quality of life improvement than moving it to a different repo.
