Notes:

Here, you will find all the information about the Issue Template, how to see it, get all the required information and some exceptions about the template.

The Template:

So what is the template? It is a template where you should fill out all the fields without excluding anything, for example, modifications. You can find the template here. It will auto insert into your issue when you are creating it.

Our issue template is a derivative from the ACE3 Team one. Thank you!

Also, from 0.1.0 and above, in the Addon Options menu, do enable Debug Output for Achilles.

When creating the issue, please do keep all the original formatting.

Getting all the information:

You will need all of this information:

  • Arma 3 version;
  • CBA version;
  • Ares Mod - Achilles Expansion version;
  • All of your loaded mods;
  • Description - describe your issue;
  • Steps how to reproduce the issue so we can track it down;
  • .RPT log file.

How to open mod folders:

  1. Open up the Arma 3 Launcher;
  2. Find your mod and click on it;
  3. Click on the three dots to expand more;
  4. Click on Open Folder in Windows Explorer.

How to find your Arma 3 Version:

  1. Go to your Arma 3 folder;
  2. Find the executable of Arma 3 - arma3.exe or arma3_x64.exe;
  3. Right-click and open the Properties window;
  4. Select the Details page;
  5. Find the File version tab and write the version number down - we only need the three digits, e.g. 1.76.

How to find your CBA version:

  1. Open the CBA folder (instructions above) and find the mod.cpp file;
  2. Find the version number in the name property and write down the version number, e.g. 3.4.1.

How to find Ares Mod - Achilles Expansion version:

  1. Repeat the process right as for CBA above.
  2. You should get a version number like, for example, 0.0.9c.

Loaded mods:
Write down all your mods that you have loaded from the Arma 3 Launcher.

RPT log file:
Yes, you do need to link it. As for instructions, it is listed in the template itself.

Exceptions

  1. If you are making a Feature Request, then you can ignore the template.
