I want the nesting level of comments to be unlimited, I set a number of 100

At this time, comments deep 2 -> deep 3,4,5 .... will automatically indent to the left a bit

Is there a way to make comments deep 3-4-5 .... have the same offset as deep 2?

The function of the maximum nesting level option here is to stop automatic left indentation after surpassing this number. The quantity of comments one can send isn't restricted by this number; setting it to 2 is ok. Perhaps the name isn't very clear? 🤔

If I set maximum nesting level = 2, the situation I encounter here could be A and B commenting at the same time. When I want to reply to person A, the position where the comment appears will be pushed to the bottom comment, not not immediately after person A

It makes it difficult to follow the reply content

If I set maximum nesting level = 100, the position appears exactly as I want

The problem is that comments deep 3-4-5 .... will now be indented too deeply :D

On other comment systems, I can use css to manage, like below

To achieve different effects, a new configuration option can be added to influence the rendering position of comments. This would require modifying the JavaScript code logic, but a temporary simple solution can be applied using CSS, albeit not very perfectly. 😢You can try this CSS code 😁

Perhaps the solution using css is not too optimal, today I encountered a situation where comments were nested back and forth about 16 times.

The distance is indented about 85px

I tried changing the Maximum nesting level to 2, and the interface appeared correctly

It's too difficult

This skewed situation only appears when there are ~10-12 consecutive nested comments, below this number the spacing is still correct.

Need to adjust a little more, to make comment botton more balanced, when there are too many nested comments (usually > 10 comments will be stretched below).
