Leon,
I’m not sure from your message what data your UPS does and does not send in response to the upsc daemon being queried. Maybe you could use the “raw” endpoint to download the JSON or the “view raw” option on the menu to display the debugging JSON supplied by your device and attach it as a file here. I can look though it and see what’s present.
One thing I would say is that calculating runtime from a battery level is notoriously unreliable (which is why quite a few models don’t do it)
Regards,
A

Subject: [ArthurMitchell42/nutcase] RunTime (Discussion #70)
Hi all, I've installed this awesome service, but I've a very simple question I guess!
My UPS tecnoware doesn't have the runtime information, I've seen into the Json message and this information is not present.
My question is: is possible force this value i.e. by using the current UPS load and the mhA of the battery? Or Let me know if you have other ideas?
Ciao

I've had a look through the data and there isn't a way to make even vaguely accurate estimate of run time. The only data that might be used is the battery charge percentage however that isn't reliable in terms of linearity and the data doesn't list a shutdown point meaning it isn't possible to match a kx + y extrapolation to it. This means that trying to extrapolate useful data from it would be nothing more than a guess. |
