The many ways that areas can be defined in the Spatial Portal provides for many applications. One of these area-defining options is AOO and EOO, and now also alpha hulls.
These three methods generate an area around a set of points that can be a species, genus (etc), a lifeform or any species list. Once the area is defined, either an area report or an export | species checklist can be used to list species that are spatially associated with the target.
