Print Settings

You tried to print your CV/Resume using the button on CVBuilder.dev and you encounter issues?
The background and/or part of the style (CSS) is not displayed correctly?

There is settings to changes on the print preview window according to the browser you use.

✅ Google Chrome

On the print window ensure that:

  1. Layout is on Portrait.
  2. Colour is set to Colour.
  3. Click the More Settings button.
  4. Paper size to A4.
  5. Margins to None.
  6. Scale to Default.
  7. And ensure in Options that Background graphics is checked.


✅ Mozilla Firefox

On the print window ensure that:

  1. Orientation is on Portrait.
  2. Colour mode is set to Colour.
  3. Click the More Settings button.
  4. Paper size to A4 (⚠️ Caution: there is two A4 size, the correct one is the second one).
  5. Scale is set to 100.
  6. Margins to None.
  7. And ensure in Options that Print backgrounds is checked.









⚠️ Safari

Even with all the modifications listed below you will not get a 100% accurate result, it seems there is an issue, margins will still be applied to the document...

First on the print window you will need to click on Show Details to see settings:

Now ensure that:

  1. Paper size to A4 Borderless.
  2. Orientation is on Portrait.
  3. Scale is set to 100 %.
  4. Margins to None.
  5. Print backgrounds is checked.

In the dropdown where you see the value Safari, click to select Bordeless Printing.
Set the Amount of Extension to the minimum.
