Hello Paul,

Thank you for contributing an excellent library for loading SVG images. I believe it is currently the most popular solution for loading SVG images on the Android platform. It has helped countless developers and is running on millions of devices.

Your library has been working well in our project. However, our company has a silly policy that if a library hasn't released a new version for a long time, it is considered unmaintained and we need to find a replacement. But in reality, we believe AndroidSVG is already the best solution.

I noticed that although you have been continuously improving the library in recent years, there hasn't been a new release after 1.4. I also saw that there are still a few features pending in the milestone for version 1.5. I understand you may have a plan, but we would like to inquire if you can release a new version soon that includes some of the bug fixes you have made previously. It could be either 1.5 or 1.4.1. This would be of great help to us, and we can continue using your library.

Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you again for your contribution.

Hi. Sorry for the slow reply. I hope to finally do some more work on the library during my Christmas holidays. I'll make sure I get some sort of release out.

Hi. Sorry for the slow reply. I hope to finally do some more work on the library during my Christmas holidays. I'll make sure I get some sort of release out.

I'm glad to receive your reply and I really appreciate your willingness to take time during the precious Christmas season to continue improving this library.
We have found a way to make version 1.4.0 usable until April next year, but we are still looking forward to a new version to replace it.
It seems that we have enough time to wait for your new release, and we would greatly appreciate it if you could share any specific plans you have.
Thank you again for your assistance and Merry Christmas to you.
