Could be considered, but I don't have a linux computer on which I play games, so it wouldn't be easy for me to test SAC.

I also don't really know how Steam DRMs are implemented on Linux

If you have clues, please share them. If other people want to have Linux support, please participate so I know if it's worth supporting.

Wouldnt it be feasible to just use wine

linux packaging is an annoying hassle as there are many package managers for specific distros that unfortunately you'd have to cater for

I think it's pretty useful for low resource linux running machines (eg. Raspberry Pi), since Steam app actually uses massive amount of memory resources which makes game runs poorly so bypassing it is actually awesome.
