I am currently working on my final project for my degree. I'm building a futuristic-like traffic management system where I assume all the vehicles are autonomous and the traffic laws change dynamically for optimal use of the road infrstracture. This simulator is a perfect starting point for me and I attend to fork this project and extend it to my needs. I'd be happy to share the result with you once I'm done. This is literally my situation. I am also in my last year of studying. Furthermore I intend to build an AI model to optimize traffic in my hometown as my final project. A have accidentally found your article and then the repo. I would like to use this project as a base, I might move it closer to the "mesoscopic" modeling.
