Using WP 5.8 Beta 2 and Crio RC2
Also happens with stable WP and Crio RC2 but in stable when I click Publish the buttons jump to the correct color and in WP 5.8 I don't see the correct color until I close the Customizer.

When I open the Customizer for the first time I see the starter content. I changed color palettes but the buttons did not update color until I closed the Customizer.
