Spell checking #1382

Hi, I think it would be a great addition, but we didn't implement suggestions just yet (with spell check highlight), since the context menu offering them is a bit complex in electron. I'll see what is the current status of this in the codebase and let you know when could it be available. |

Hi, Thank you for replying! I really hope you can get some sort of spellchecking solution working, it's the only missing feature for this great app. I have tried lots of different markdown/notebook apps and boost is the only one I have found versatile enough to act as a notebook, long-form writing tool and code snippet repo all in one without a huge amount of fuss or inconvenience. Great job guys! |

Hi,
Do you know if there is a way to get OS or browser native spelling correction inside Boost notes? When using the Mac Native app I am seeing the underlines on misspelt words but there doesn't seem to be an option to suggest corrections. Using Boost in the browser I am not even seeing the underlines.
I use Boost to compose longer posts or articles for my colleagues and currently have to paste my entire note out to another app to run spell checking which can be problematic when transferring Markdown syntaxes such as code blocks or quotes etc. In a perfect world, access to the OS/browser built-in spell checking and even Grammarly would make Boost a perfect little writing tool.
Edit: and yes I have opted into the preference for spellchecking, It just only seems to do the highlighting in app!
