Citations, attributions & license

This repository contains two (2) data outputs:

1. Source weather observation data

Source weather observation data generously provided by the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) 1 from the observation station at Sukayu Onsen, Aomori Prefecture, Japan 2.

This source data is provided here in the form of a zipped tab-delimited CSV file “sukayu_historical_obs_daily.csv.zip” 3

The JMA’s copyright statement and generous terms of use can be found on their website 4.

2. Derived statistical data

Statistical data derived by us (Boris Anthony 5) using our own devices, code and logic.

This statistical data is made available here in two forms:

This derived data caries no warranties or assurances as to their correctness or reliability and should not be used for anything more than curious exploration of them. Any errors present in this derived data are solely my responsibility and not that of the JMA.

Sukayu Winter Season Derived Data by Boris Anthony is hereby released to the public domain with the CC0 1.0 Universal dedication. [^8]

By marking the work with a CC0 public domain dedication, the creator is giving up their copyright and allowing reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, even for commercial purposes.
