will not restore window position and size

What happened?

First time using Waterfox on Kubuntu 24.10. I have created a windows rule to remember location and size, but when Waterfox runs, it always defaults to center of screen and some smaller rectangle.

In fact, previously Firefox behaved in a similar way. It would open initially the proper saved location and size, but immediately relocate and resize. Very annoying behavior. Was hoping Waterfox would be different.

Reproducible?

• I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.
