There is an undocumented -o short option:

mwdblib

$ mwdb search "meta.karton2:12117120-fdc0-4f4d-9798-738b17450e51" -oshort
b5f0aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa60

But the docs are silent about it:

  -o, --output TEXT    Format attributes separated by commas. Supported
                       values: nocolor, nopager, nohuman
