COSP 2.0.1, available as a tag since 30 November 2017, corrects an error in the MODIS simulator. The error directly affects only mixed-phase clouds. It directly affects only the drop size estimate but, as these are used to determine when retrievals are successful, has small impacts on every quantity produced by the MODIS simulator.

Only a few lines of code are affected and users of COSP 2.0 should upgrade as soon as practical.
