What are the requirements for the Data Story editor, next to being the open source equiv for the one in Druid?

  • Visualisaties (plaatjes + flourish) kunnen embedden
  • Typen in markdown met makkelijke preview van hoe het er uiteindelijk uit komt te zien
  • kan eerst aanpassingen bekijken voordat ze worden gepubliceerd
  • kan exporteren als markdown of direct publiceren naar de Github pages waar de stories op zitten
  • niet toegankelijk voor niet-bevoegden
  • toegankelijk voor externen
    • VERSIEBEHEER (idealiter in te checken op github)
  • meerdere mensen kunnen tegelijk werken/editten (nice to have)
  • kan opmerkingen/to dos aangeven (nice-to-have)
  • autosave

Het H2020 project Polifonia werkt ook aan een editor voor data stories, zie https://github.com/polifonia-project/dashboard

  • Authenticate with GitHub to create a new story.
  • Access data from any SPARQL endpoint
  • Select the layout template of your story
  • Include charts, sections, filters, and descriptions.
  • Preview the final data story while creating it.
  • Embed or export your data story and single charts in several formats.
