We should try out this MOM6 option, as suggested in #51 (comment)

ADJUST_NET_SRESTORE_BY_SCALING = True
				! "[Boolean] default = False
				! If true, adjustments to salt restoring to achieve zero net are
                                ! made by scaling values without moving the zero contour."
