In MusicXML, objects (like notes) can have a print-object attribute indicating whether they should be printed on the rendered score. In some applications it is useful to know this information, like when we want to process the score as it would be seen by a human reader, therefore discarding elements with print-object=no.
It seems that Partitura does not support this attribute, and I believe that it would be a great addition! (in import and export)
