Hi @roi-orca, this seems an interesting idea. Indeed, in several situations, we reproduce the same query cross platform, hence repeating some of the metadata. We started an initiative of aligning descriptions (which could also be refactored to a shared metadata) but this is a step up. Would you like to propose a solution for this? Nevertheless, it would be great if you could open a Feature Request based on this! Thanks |

Hi,
Recently I had a chance of investigating kics queries structure and metadata while fixing a few anomalies and descriptions for similar queries in different platforms.
It made me realize we might want to extend our metadata in order to provide better understanding of similar queries and to prevent discrepancies between them now and in the future. My suggestion is to add a new attribute called
correlationId
where similar queries share the samecorrelationId
value.For example -
Next steps could be separate the similar data to another file where the
correlationId
will be the identifier for such queries and it will help us on maintaining the data correct cross platforms, which will look like the following example -id
==correlationId
