The session works fine when using a mouse to navigate (although, as in another issue, I have duplicate sessions in SDDM), but when I connect my Bluetooth controller and try to use it, the session turns into a black screen. However, when I move my mouse, it appears again and works normally as if nothing happened. It goes black again when I use a controller input again and so on. Really weird behaviour. Maybe it's because of a custom kernel/display driver?
Edit: It also went black when I stopped my inputs for a few seconds. It completely stopped going black when I decreased manual scaling by one. Also, it seems that the resolution setting has problems with higher refresh rates than 60Hz. And also games crash on gamescope. I didn't notice any performance difference compared to KDE without gamescope on my setup, though. Do with this issue whatever you feel is right, it's here just for the information from someone who tried to launch it on a regular PC. It probably works out of the box on handhelds and newer hardware or AMD GPUs. Anyway, I'm out.
I normally use the CachyOS proton on KDE but the session downloads and uses Proton 9
I don't know what else I could add. I'll try once again but with gamescope from cachyos-extra-v3 and if it's the same I'll boot into the regular Linux kernel to test it.
