Hide all or unpinned app icons

Describe the solution you'd like
To be able to hide all app icons or at least non-pinned icons while excluding icons for the system tray, task view, etc for use when such functionality has been replaced by a external solution like a dock program (Nexus dock, OnjectDock, etc).

Describe alternatives you've considered
Searched for outright taskbar replacements, but nothing I could find came up. Many dock software can mimic the taskbar, but only partially. It is convenient to have all the other Windows taskbar features in one place sans the app icons.

Additional context
TaskbarX let's you hide about everything else already, so why not add app icons to the list?
