Importing Birthday dates with and without years

I am trying to import into a new install. The birthdays in my data is a mix of with and without years (example: 1/1/2025 and 1/1). When I import the month and the day comes through but all the years are blank even for the ones that have years. I’ve tried several different ways but can’t seem to get it to import the years for the ones that have it. Is there a way to get the years in for those that have it?
