I can't seem to find why, but in the "Applications" tab, the desktop and steam big picture are not showing even though they are in the confi.json file.

Also I can't seem to add any new applications, when I click the "Save" button, nothing happens and if I check the log file I get this error: "error": "C:\Program Files\Apollo\config/apps.json(8): expected key string"

I just installed Apollo and I'm having the same issue.

Thanks for including that image @EIdog. I noticed there was an invalid trailing , on the 7th line of that apps.json file.

I went to "C:\Program Files\Apollo\config\apps.json", and removed the comma there, and bam, got it working!

Thank you! I just tried it and it worked. I had to change permissions on the Apollo folder and now it's working.

I'm having the same issue. Can I change something from my apps.json? I don't have any working knowledge of this - just uninstalled & reinstalled Apollo and no apps show for my host.

EDIT: I removed the 7th line and my apps are back. Thank you. Any idea why this happened?

The "," at the end of the 7th line was causing an error. So you only need to delete the comma, not the whole line!

Pushed a new release, now it should be fixed.
