When using MarkPadRT (store version) with the on screen keyboard if you pause of a second while typing the keyboard starts to hide away.

Of course this makes it very difficult to use MarkPad in pure tablet mode.

Let me know if you need me to try to push the current version to my Surface.

I think the easiest way to solve this would to send me your Surface! ;)

Unfortunately I don't have a touchscreen device to test it on, and the testers I had with touch devices didn't pick this up until too late. It wasn't until then I was able to 'fix' the OSK not showing in the simulator for me. Currently don't have a completely working solution, but I am working on it. I'll update this thread/ping you when I've got something to try.

If you're wondering, when you update the contents of the WebView control it steals focus. The only 'work around' with WebView is to set the focus back on 'loadcomplete', hence the bouncing.

The proper solution I'm working on involves rendering Html to proper XAML, which doesn't suffer this problem. The downside is I'm finding it a bit tricky to get all markdown/html elements rendering correctly.

No problem, let me know if I can help in any way, expect sending you my Surface, I have a difficult enough time keeping my wife from stealing it.
