Decoder Programming

Programming options are under the Program menu button and only work on the programming track.

• Read Address - Read the decoder address.
  1. If successful the decoder address will be displayed.
• Write Address - Write a new address to the decoder.
  1. Enter an address on the keypad (1-10293), press enter.
  2. A confirmation message will show, press Yes to write the address or Cancel to go back to the menu.
  3. If Yes was pressed then a success or fail result will show.
• Read Byte - Read a decoder CV value.
  1. Enter a CV number on the keypad (1-1024), press enter.
  2. If successful the byte value will be displayed.
• Write Byte - Write a CV value to the decoder.
  1. Enter a CV number on the keypad (1-1024), press enter.
  2. Enter a CV value on the keypad (0-255), press enter.
  3. A confirmation message will show, press Yes to write the CV value or Cancel to go back to the menu.
  4. If Yes was pressed then a success or fail result will show.
• Read Bit - Read a decoder CV value bit.
  1. Enter a CV number on the keypad (1-1024), press enter.
  2. Enter a bit number on the keypad (0-7), press enter.
  3. If successful the bit value will be displayed.
• Write Bit - Write a CV bit value.
  1. Enter a CV number on the keypad (1-1024), press enter.
  2. Enter a bit number on the keypad (0-7), press enter.
  3. Enter a bit value (0-1), press enter.
  4. A confirmation message will show, press Yes to write the CV bit value or Cancel to go back to the menu.
  5. If Yes was pressed then a success or fail result will show.

When on a keypad press Cancel to go back to the programming options menu.
