Sort links A-Z

is there a way to sort links from a -z. also when importing links the permissions for each link is not set. I have to go through each link and set permissions . Is there a way to add this permission in the xml file ?

I am keeping this for the sorting part of the issue.

For the permissions, you can set permissions on the module level that will affect the visibility of the whole module and then on each link. I do not know which xml file you are referring to, please open another issue with more details if you have an idea in mind for that.
