Beta Test

The public beta version of Darkest Hour: Europe '44-'45 can be acquired through Steam.

How do I install the public beta build?

1. Open Steam.
2. Locate Darkest Hour: Europe '44-'45 in your Games list.
3. Right-click Darkest Hour: Europe '44-'45 then select Properties.
4. Select the Betas tab.
5. Under Private Betas, input the password of the private beta and click Check Code.
6. From the Beta Participation drop-down, select public-playtest - Public playtesting branch.
7. Click Close.

How do I play the beta build?

1. Run Darkest Hour: Europe '44-'45 from Steam.
2. Join the Beta server.

Help! I can't play the live game anymore!

In order to switch your game back to the live version, repeat the steps above, but instead, select NONE - Opt out of all beta programs.
