Creating New Vehicles

Creating new vehicles is one of the most difficult and time consuming tasks in Darkest Hour development. There are many steps involved requiring proficiency in a number of programs, as well as some small amount of programming. There are also numerous quirks of the engine and tools that must be worked around.

This guide will step you through the process of getting a textured model into Darkest Hour.

Prerequisites

  • Blender 2.8x
  • Install the io_export_psk_psa addon as outlined here.
  • Install the io_export_ase addon as outlined here.
