Code of Conduct

Introduction

As contributors and maintainers of the PyAIPersonality project, we pledge to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone who wants to participate in this project, regardless of their age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and harassment-free environment and expect everyone to follow our Code of Conduct when interacting with others within this community.

Our Standards

The following behaviors are expected of all members of the PyAIPersonality community:

  • Treat others with respect, kindness, and empathy.
  • Use inclusive language and avoid offensive or derogatory comments, slurs, and insults.
  • Listen actively and consider other people's opinions and experiences.
  • Be patient and helpful to new members and contributors.
  • Accept constructive criticism gracefully and provide feedback in a respectful and constructive manner.
  • Refrain from any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying, including but not limited to verbal, physical, or sexual harassment, intimidation, or stalking.
  • Respect other people's privacy and personal information and ask for their consent before sharing it publicly.
  • Use the project's communication channels, such as GitHub issues, pull requests, and mailing lists, to discuss project-related topics, questions, and feedback.

Our Responsibilities

As maintainers of the PyAIPersonality project, we are responsible for enforcing this Code of Conduct and creating a safe and inclusive environment for all members of this community. We will:

  • Respond promptly and fairly to any report of unacceptable behavior and take appropriate action, which may include warning, suspension, or expulsion from the community.
  • Respect the privacy and anonymity of anyone who reports a Code of Conduct violation.
  • Provide guidance and support to community members who experience or witness any form of harassment or discrimination.
