The Equalizer APO files don't seem to upmix surround sound right, at least with the latest update of the program (2022-05-22). All speakers play the same audio in my surround setup, only with minor differences and different volumes. I tested them with audio test videos as well as games that support Dolby Pro Logic.

Hello, I'm here with the same problem. Unless there's not meant to be total channel separation?

The rear speakers are definitely louder for rear signals, but the front sounds are playing through them as well, at a slightly lower volume.

edit:
nvm after trying to implement it myself it seems that this is expected behaviour. the left right channel get regular passthrough so ofc it has all the audio info, and separation is done lightly through phase shifted audio info.

The only issue I have is when doing my own implementation, the generated convolution file is much different to yours?
I used the octave code here.
