  • Penetration?
    • Could be for walls, or bodies...
    • Could make bodies block bullets, and certain bullets can penetrate...
  • "Physics-based" damage? Controlled by velocity, shape and size.
  • Enemy armour? Would tie in with the former.
  • Buckshot does more damage to certain enemies?
  • Would be nice for damage to be balanced around feeling nice
    • Basic human enemies dying in a few pistol shots?
    • Two 10 or 12ga shots to kill a pinky?
    • It feels nice to clear a room quickly, with hectic shootouts...
  • "Scaling" the range of spread? Same ratio between distances, but spread actually means something in normal Doom encounter distances.
    • e.g., Pistols have noticeable spread, rifles are more accurate.
    • Could break away from reality a bit for the sake of gameplay...
  • A better armour system (Improve the way armour works and add bullet penetration #96)
  • Stun?
  • Headshots?
