I would like to be able to specify a dnsConfig for all the components of the operator. In my case, I want to set ndots to 0 to avoid the unnecessary DNS requests (e.g. ....live.dynatrace.com.svc.cluster.local.).
Describe the solution you'd like
Allow to specify dnsConfig in the operator values file (operator, webhook, csidriver).
Allow to specify dnsConfig in the DynaKube file (oneAgent, activeGate).
Describe alternatives you've considered
I was able to inject the dnsConfig in the operator manifests via kustomize, but there is nothing I can do for the resources created by the operator itself ( oneAgent and activeGate).
Thank you for opening a Dynatrace Operator Issue. We've identified and tagged the issue as a "Support request".
Dynatrace responds to requests like these via Dynatrace ONE support rather than Github. This helps our team respond as quickly as possible using the support team's tools and procedures.
