Summary

🟢 Leap Software Status

  • Will have announcement on code freeze for Leap 4.0.0 in the coming weeks.
    • Leap 4.0.0 is targeted for a March release for testing on Jungle and will not be a consensus upgrade

Technical roundtable for Antelope Node Operators

  • Brian continued to lead a discussion to get feedback on a draft taxonomy of the roles that different antelope nodes play
    • We revisited the definitions of Block Producer Nodes, Block Relay Nodes, and Transaction relay Nodes.
    • We also discussed Push API Node, Chain API Node, Developer Node, Snapshotting Node, Transaction Estimator, and Trace API Node.
    • See the draft taxonomy document for detailed notes captured during the meeting.

  • We will continue the discussion with a focus on DeepMind Logger Node, State History Node, and Layer 2 Solutions like History Capture Services and History Provider Services.
