Summary

🟢 In progress action items are on track:

• Leap software development #41

  • RC3 release was a no-go for this week. Targeting release next week.
  • It's likely RC3 will become the final release, assuming it passes testing.
  • Removing library dependency on GMP library was moved out of scope from 3.1 to 3.2.

• Platform Support #55

  • DUNE 1.0 RC1 has been released.

• Test Leap on Jungle 4 #44

  • All consensus features are now activated on Jungle4, including BLOCKCHAIN_PARAMETERS, which had previously not been activated
  • dfuse is now running successfully on Jungle4, but testing is still in progress to ensure it handles the new features as expected
  • BPs are asked to focus testing on contracts and CDT this week:
    • For CDT:
      • Baseline able to compile mandel-contracts.
      • But, would be good to see others trying to build their own contract projects.
    • For Contracts:
      • Baseline is to set mandel-contracts as the system contract.
      • But, it would be good to exercise any new functionality explicitly.

• Testnet strategy #40

  • EOS Nation has deployed a token faucet and account creation smart contract on Kylin and is working on a back-end and telegram bot that will make it easy for anyone to create an account on Kylin and request tokens for testing simply by providing it a public key and account name.

• Communicate upgrade plan broadly #50

  • A draft of the Mandel 3.1 upgrade guide is ready for feedback. Please provide any feedback as comments in the document by end of week.
  • ENF is translating the document this week and publishing next week.
  • We will work with EOS Support to communicate the upgrade guide with all stakeholders next week.
  • The article will also include a survey. Provide feedback on survey questions here.
