Adding a "New recipe" label?

Hi all 👋

I had a query from someone at the MO asking if there was an easy way to determine what new recipes were currently being developed. I thought perhaps asking those with intentions of developing a new recipe to add a new issue and use an, e.g. "New recipe" label, so they could be easily discovered.

What do you think? Or is there a better way to do this?

I believe the diagnostic label is used for this. There is also a metric label, but it seems to be less popular. To be honest, I don't know what the difference is, but maybe someone from our @ESMValGroup/scientific-lead-development-team knows?

I like the idea of a "new recipe" label! It's a lot more descriptive than "diagnostic", it is, in fact, as descriptive as a label can be 😁
