As of now the file name to oci-ctl build-deb --oci ... must use the .docker.tar extension.
This is actually pretty misleading because we are dealing with OCI containers only

  • Thus the extension for the input file should be .oci.tar
  • Also the extension name should be checked by oci-ctl build-deb
