Could this ever work for Sketchup 8 ? #9
Comments
Hi, SketchUp 8 is rather dated and has a very old Ruby version. I've decided long ago to personally not support anything older than SketchUp 2017 as it's too much extra work with so many missing features in the language. When my extensions support older versions it's typically by accident, because I happened to not use the newer features, not by intent. |
Ok thanks |
Maybe it's time to buy a pro license if you are making money out of SketchUp |
Not making any money, only reason I can use sketchup, and only sketchup 8 at work is because it's free for commercial use and I'm not making any money. If I could make money, the company would make me use catia. If it was not free for commercial use, they would forbid me using it without a license. I didn't even ask about getting a catia license just because I just wanted to draw a box for putting my stamps in a 3d printed box. But I also didn't feel like re-learning to draw with freecad for such a minor thing either. |
Hi, you can use .bat file. It turned out like this.

Hi,
I'm a Sketchup 8 user, as this is the last version of sketchup which is free for commercial use.
I was wondering if this extension could work with sketchup 8 ? Even if buggy ?
I tried loading it however got the following error messages.
