I believe it is generally more intuitive (and fits more into the known way of differs: Apache SVN viewer, Wikipedia, Meld, etc.) if instead of using two checkboxes and a seemingly arbitrary order to use the "radio button style".
It's especially not user friendly when I want to change the baseline of the project, and when I unselect the previous baseline, the "new check" becomes baseline, so I have to unselect that too, ...
