Can't select text in links

If I mousedown and hold, with the intention of dragging to select part of the middle of a link, it's impossible. It immediately opens the link instead.

Requiring a modifier key is sort of a workaround, but might I suggest only registering on the mouseup if it's within a certain time window of the mousedown? That would still allow dragging to select.
