Beta Release date announced!

Yo guys.
We'll release the new branch v2.0.0-b1 (the beta software using typescript and nuxt.js) in those days! 🥳

I can't tell you an exact date, but probably the branch will be available on Friday, May 19th, so stay tuned for tomorrow 💛

It's ready for production?

Not yet, we need to make some changes before releasing on production, such as:

• Optimize the project structure
• Optimize some functions
• Optimize dark/light mode using nuxt module provided by official nuxt website
• Complete docker migration (the new version will be all available on docker using one docker-compose.yml file)
• Complete django integration on the client side
• Integrate auth system to signup and login on client side
• Integrate bookmarks and upvote system
• Some minor bug fixes

We also migrated npm to yarn (all steps to build on dev mode will be available on the README file on beta branch)

Why do you prepare the new branch even if the app is not ready yet?

With the branch, we and you can open new issues related to the beta software without integration problems.
If you open an issue now, on the main branch, and a PR, before merge we have to integrate the features or fixes on nuxt version.
So with new branch, all issues and PR can be merged without problems, so all of us can continue the migration easily.

Can i contribute to the beta version?

Of course!!! That's the main reason we're releasing the beta software even if not ready for production! 😄
