Action Performed:

  1. Open the App and login
  2. Navigate to Settings > Payments
  3. Disable the internet connection in the device
  4. Click/Tap on "Add Payment Method" and Click/Tap on "PayPal.me"
    5.Enter any PayPal.me name, then click “Add PayPal account”
  5. Go back online

Expected Result:

Paypal account method should not disappear

Actual Result:

Paypal account disappears

Related offline issue #10762
After reinstall the app , unable to reproduced it, payment button is disable.

@kbecciv you are correct that the Add payment button should be disabled. However, a user can go offline after tapping that button and then fill out the PayPal address.

The reported issue seems to be related to the flicker effect we experience on a lot of API requests at the moment. It should be solved here cc @jasperhuangg

Here's a video showing that eventually the PayPal address comes back:
