mWeb/iOS Safari - Chat - Keypad does not open in iOS Safari after tapping on conversation #2108

Expected Result:

The box is highlighted blue and key pad does open

Actual Result:

Key pad does not open

Action Performed:

  1. Go to https://staging.expensify.cash
  2. Log in with any user
  3. Open a new chat by clicking it on the LHN
  4. See the compose box automatically get focused

Workaround:

Can the user still use Expensify without this being fixed? Have you informed them of the workaround?

I believe this is related to #2129 and #1855. There was a discussion around if we want the keyboard to pop up immediately or not, I'm not sure if that has been resolved / if there's a conclusion yet. It's possible we can close this, as the solution to the linked issue(s) should resolve this too.

Yes, I agree @Beamanator. We don't want yet another person focused on working this very similar issue as it will become very difficult to track the progress.
