About this module:

This module was created for the Dendera Project, based at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. The module has been designed as to document skeleton finds during the archaeological excavation at the Dendera necropolis, conducted by Dr Yann Tristant at Macquarie University.

Authorship:

This module was co-developed by Dr Yann Tristant at Macquarie University and Adela Sobotkova and Brian Ballsun-Stanton at the FAIMS Project, Department of Ancient History, Macquarie University.

Funding:

This module contains the following FAIMS features:

  • on device created photos, photograph logs, sketches etc.
  • coordinates from internal GPS
  • validated fields with user observations
  • controlled vocabularies
  • module translation into French

This module can be used with no or minor modification for:

  • anthropologic documenting of human remains during archaeological excavation (necropolis or single grave)
